I am so excited, the Plum tree that I replanted a couple of weeks ago has started to bloom, each little flower bud popping open like popcorn kernels. They even have a beautiful scent.
This little tree is a piece of my old home that has come along for the ride and germinated in a pot I brought down with me when we moved five years ago. The dog chewed it off last year when it was only about a foot high but now it has grown strong and proud and beautiful.
